Apple Tim Cook Meets Elon Musk Resumes Twitter Advertising
Apple eventually resumed Twitter advertising.
According to Bloomberg News on the 3rd (local time), Twitter CEO Elon Musk said on Twitter’s recent Twitter audio broadcast “Twitter Space” that “Apple has completely resumed Twitter advertising,” and Apple is Twitter’s biggest advertiser.
Musk hosted Twitter Space on his private jet and told listeners like this. More than 90,000 listeners listened to the broadcast.
Since Musk acquired Twitter earlier, Apple and other leading companies have stopped advertising Twitter.
Elon Musk then threatened that Apple would stop advertising on Twitter and exclude it from the app store, saying, “We will start a war with Apple.”
However, the mood has reversed since Musk and Apple CEO Tim Cook met on the 30th of last month.
Musk tweeted that he had a good conversation with Apple CEO Tim Cook at the Apple building. In particular, he said, “We solved the misunderstanding about the problem of Twitter being deleted from the app store,” adding, “The team is not considering doing so at all.”
