Korea’s KOSPI closed sharply at 1.92% and Australia’s ASX index closed sharply at 1.23%, respectively.
The Chinese stock market, which is still before the deadline, is also soaring. China’s Shanghai Composite Index is up 1.34 percent and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index is up 2.45 percent.
On the same day, the Japanese stock market was closed for a public holiday.
The surge in major Asian stocks is attributed to a surge in the U.S. stock market over the weekend.
On the 15th, the U.S. stock market surged 2.15% for Dow, 1.92% for S&P 500, and 1.79% for Nasdaq, respectively.
