BTS Wins ‘American Music Awards’ for 5 consecutive years
The group BTS has won the “American Music Awards,” one of the top three popular music awards in the United States, for the fifth consecutive year.( BTS Wins )

BTS became the winner of the trophy in the “Favorite Pop Duo or Group” category, beating out prominent candidates such as Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Maneskin, and Wonwon Public.
BTS was awarded the Favorite Social Artist category in 2018 and made its first connection with the ceremony.
Since then, it has been on the list of winners for five consecutive years. In the “Favorite Pop Duo or Group” category, it has set a record of winning the award for the fourth consecutive year since 2019.
In particular, BTS was the first K-pop singer to win the grand prize, “Artist of the Year,” at the awards ceremony last year.
BTS did not attend this year’s awards ceremony. Member Jungkook attended the opening ceremony of the 2022 Qatar World Cup and performed enthusiastically.
