Manchester United Ronaldo returns to team training with a smile

The Manchester United club announced on the 25th that Ronaldo has returned to team training ahead of the Europa League match against Sherif Tiraspol (Moldova). Ronaldo also posted a photo of him training with a smile.

Earlier, Ronaldo headed to the locker room during the game even before the Tottenham match at home on the 20th and eventually left the stadium. Ronaldo, who was sitting on the bench, reportedly protested when Manchester United coach Eric Ten Hach put only Scott McTominie (31 minutes in the second half) and Antony Elanga and Christian Eriksen (42 minutes in the second half) among the five replacement cards. The Manchester United club ruled out Ronaldo from the roster against Chelsea on the 23rd.

Ronaldo’s ‘early leave’ wasn’t the first time. He also started in a pre-season friendly match against Rayo Bayekano at his home, Old Trafford, in August, but left the stadium before the final whistle sounded when he was replaced in the second half.

Ronaldo later wrote on his social media, “I’ve always respected my teammates, coaches and opponents throughout my career. And I’ve been trying to set an example for young players, he said. “But there were times when I couldn’t because of the heat of the moment.”

There was once a chill between the two, but Ronaldo apologized to coach Ten Hagh for his actions and returned to the training ground. According to local media, coach Ten Hach wanted an apology to precede his return to the team. Ronaldo reportedly apologized and promised to play any role for the team.

Manchester United will play their fifth Europa League game against Sherif Tiraspol at home on the 28th. Ronaldo has started in all four previous Europa League games.
