TOMORROW-BY TOGETHER achieved its first ‘Double Million Seller’ in 3 years and 11 months since their debut.
Tomorrow-By Together has set a new record of achieving the initial “Double Million Seller” at the minimum number of years since its debut as a K-pop artist.
According to Hanteo Chart, a music sales aggregation site on February 2, cumulative sales of Tomorrow-By-Together (SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, and HUENINGKAI)’s fifth mini-album “The Name Chapter: TEMPTION” surpassed 2 million copies on the sixth day of its release (February 1), reaching 2,027,817.
Tomorrow-By Together, which holds the first “Double Million Seller” album three years and 11 months after its debut, set a new record for achieving the minimum annual “Double Million Seller” among K-pop artists.
According to YG PLUS, the album’s pre-order volume was 2.34 million copies, which sold 1,868,919 copies based on Hanteo Chart on the day of its release (January 27), and TOMORROW X TOGETHER sold more than 1.8 million copies on the first day of its release since BTS.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s relentless success is also seen on the global charts. As “Chapter of Name: TEMPTION” went straight to the top of Japan’s Oricon weekly album chart, TOMORROW X TOGETHER became the first overseas artist to rank No. 1 on the weekly album chart for seven consecutive albums.
The title song “Sugar Rush Ride” has been in the charts since it entered 38th place on the “Daily Top Song Global” and “Daily Top Song USA” charts released by Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming company, respectively. In addition, the “Sugar Rush Ride” music video, released on Hive Labels’ official YouTube channel, exceeded 50 million views as of 6 p.m. on the 1st amid enthusiastic responses, ranking at the top of the popular video in various countries/regions shortly after its release.
